capi4hylafax package bug

2010-10-18 Thread Nejc Škoberne
Somehow my capi4hylafax went foobar, then I tried to remove it:

r...@bubamara:/etc/hylafax# dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq
capi4hylafax
(Reading database ... 50234 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing capi4hylafax ...
cp: cannot stat `/etc/hylafax/config.faxCAPI': No such file or directory
invoke-rc.d: initscript capi4hylafax, action stop failed.
dpkg: error processing capi4hylafax (--remove):
subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
cp: cannot stat `/etc/hylafax/config.faxCAPI': No such file or directory
invoke-rc.d: initscript capi4hylafax, action start failed.
dpkg: error while cleaning up:
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
  capi4hylafax

After commenting out cp command in /etc/init.d/capi4hylafax, I could
remove the package successfully.

[Bug 588435] Re: Serial Wacom Tablet Eraser makes cursor jump and click when not in use

2010-07-27 Thread nEJC
I get the same behavior but from Serial Wacom Tablet touch - but only going
to (almost) bottom left corner - would guess coordinates are (50,50), clicking
is continuous about every half second.
Pen working without a problem. Working on HP EliteBook 2740p.

I have for now disabled device with
xinput set-prop Serial Wacom Tablet touch Device Enabled 0

[Bug 111043] problem with directory that has # character in it

2007-04-29 Thread nEJC
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-commander

the # is probably handled incorrecty somehow

in GC try to create directory structure
 /home/user/#
then try to create
 /home/user/#/a
the file exists error is thrown

sometimes I can't even go level higher (..) when in directory with this
kind of name - application is locked in it (even after restart) and
rename by hand is required to release the lock
