i'm using transmissson and have set my 8GB pendrive to download torrents and it
has 4.5 gb of empty space
{means torrent is small and pendrive ha enough free space}
error is as follows
Unable to mount 8.1GB filesystem
Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 16: Mount is denied because the
NTFS volume is already exclusively opened.
The volume may be already mounted, or another software may use it which
could be identified for example by the help of the 'fuser' command.
please help how to fix this

i`m trying to install ubuntu on pc but it can not able to run it (mouse ,key-board freezes) [i tried all ext3,4,2 file systems as suggested by ubuntu expert... but nothing works] so now i`m using kubuntu to run on pc via bootable USB key. it working fine, but if i want to play mp3 or movies it download some plugins (gestreamer) from internet. alright , the problem is that every time when i boot pc with usb ,i have to download these plugins again and again. it means the plugins are not saved in the pendrive. so please tell me how to solve this. I have compaq presario model SR5060IL desktop , which is upgraded to 1gb RAM. Whenever i installed linux on it , when booting with linux ,the computer just hangs after some time runing smoothly (pointer does not move on the screen). I also tried different linux versions eg. ubuntu 9.10 , linux mint helena currently ubuntu 10.04 LTS by the disc received from canonical.com I even not able to dual boot the machine, the problem was same. but when i tried installing linux via VIRTUAL BOX its done, but there is no sound... So' can anybody help what to do? solution by ghook worked for me. He suggests: I was able to use Xming to establish a remote XDMCP session to a Karmic box. [Bug 552830] [NEW] Software UltraEdit whose price is free is asking for $39.95 + taxes
Public bug reported: Hi, I am using Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates installed. I am attaching my sources.list at the bottom. I tried to install an editor from Applications - Ubuntu Software Center - Get Free Software - Programming - UltraEdit Summary of the application says that its price is free. However when I run it it asks for a $39.95 purchase. Please update the summary with its price so that one can get the actual price before installing OR remove UltraEdit from the list. Kindly let me know in case of more info about this incidence.
