[Bug 359529] [NEW] gnome-app-install: search is not working after a search without results
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-app-install If i search for a package, which doesn't exist in gnome-app-install, it will naturally find nothing. After that i try to search something that exist (f.e. emacs) but the search is not working anymore. Only restarting the application will enable the search functionality. [Bug 352272] Re: clicking on a folder after searching it by typing a character not opens that folder, instead the top folder is opened
* Is this reproducible? yes, on all ubuntu systems i installed, de facto 3, and always * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? to reproduce this behaviour i open a directory with nautilus, switch to list view. After searching a folder by typing a character, the first folder beginning with that character is marked, but clicking onto it unfolds the top directory visible in the window. - see screenshot. ** Attachment added: Bildschirmfoto.png http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24613976/Bildschirmfoto.png -- clicking on a folder after searching it by typing a character not opens that folder, instead the top folder is opened https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352272 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Sebastien Bacher wrote 12 hours ago: ... is that a known issue and is there a bug about it already? i found this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/332462 but i think that behaviour is quite odd... there is no sense in unfolding the top folder, when clicking on the selected one. -- clicking on a folder after searching it by typing a character not opens that folder, instead the top folder is opened https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352272 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
