Firefox 3(stable edition) was included in 8.04.1 and not in 8.04 as it had not come out of beta at the time of release. Can anyone tell me the reason? Are you sure you actually got any upgrades? Can you look into /var/log/dpkg.log file to see what is the version of firefox installed when you did the upgrade?
