If you are on Intrepid you should automatically be having network-manager as your default network manager to list and select wireless/wired networks. I am not sure why you prefer to this way round. [ubuntu-in] How to test if the wifi hardware is working
Hi Yet another hardware /software problem The Lenovo t60 i use has Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection however i am not sure if something has gone wrong with the software and / or device because some of the diagnostic commands / software i use to keep a track of wifi networks seems to not work the CLI command i use is ~$ watch iwlist wlan0 scan the software i use is swscanner so is there anyway i can diagnose if my hardware has gone faulty ?? regards ram -- ubuntu-in mailing list ubuntu-in@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-in
