Hey Sarfaraz . I am working as a Systems Engineer for a web-hosting firm based in Mumbai and we adopt a lot of Linux technologies in our products and internal/staging infrastructure alike . Moreover , we are responsible for maintaining myriad internal applications like Jabber Servers, Mail Servers, CRM Suites, Virtual machine clusters, Proxy's, Active Directory, SMS, DNS & DHCP Servers etc but some of the stuff is still based on Windows . If you are strictly looking for a job which lets you handle Linux systems then im sorry i would not be of much help . [ubuntu-in] Looking for a Linux job opportunity
Dear List Members, I'm a Commerce graduate and I've been working in the HR/Admin back-office related field for the past 6 years. However, I've come to realise that I'm not suited for this field of work and I wish to change my field of work. I've been using Linux on my home machine for the past 7 years and have been an ardent supporter of the FLOSS movement. I'm well-versed with the basics of a Linux-based system and have worked with various applications. I would love to explore the opportunity of working in any Linux related field. I'm willing to start from the very bottom without any salary expectations and working hours and location constraints. I request the List members to kindly guide me further in this regard. Any references, openings or opportunities will be highly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
