My network is working properly, and I have changed in.archive.ubuntu.com
to us.archive.ubuntu.com. Still im facing the same problem.
Please provide me a solution and if possible please mail me latest
sources.list file.

Actually when I test, it is very much responsive. But it is known to be
failing now and then in my own experience.

Try changing in.archive.ubuntu.com to us.archive.ubuntu.com and do
an apt-get update. Infact, does apt-get update show you a similar error?

Is your network working? Can you resolve, and access other
sites?
It is also possible that the site in.archive.ubuntu.com is
down.
May be problem with /etc/apt/sources.lst
[...]
I always use ftp.heanet.ie, which has proved to be very
reliable, and fast, over several years. If interested,
please mail me off-list, and I will send you a copy of
my sources.list.
