Re: [ubuntu-in] ubuntu-in Digest, Vol 37, Issue 9

Hi All,

I have tried everything like partition editor, device manager, disk manager,
the mount command from command line etc. but the problem is same. Also, Its
not the NTFS issue as all the partitions are FAT.

Thanks,

 Hi All,

I have found the solution for my problem.

First unmount all the drives from the computer.
second launch the command line. then type sudo -i

then you will be enter in the root access.

 then type mount -rw /dev/sda5

 there you go

Now you will have the write access for that drive.

 Thanks for the support :)

I prefer you check your */etc/fstab* file. For each mount rule, check
whether there is anything such as ro. If its there, maybe this is
causing the problem.

N.B.: Please don't reply to digests or set the topic title
appropriately. Just a humble request.

Hi Michael,

I have noticed this too. I wonder if it has anything to do with the
mousebutton change that Firefox has made. I have now managed to correct
my xorg.conf but I too get the problem in Tbird

  similar experiences?

 Hello, Michael.

I'm using it now and it's working perfectly on my Asus A6000 notebook.

 Have you disabled tracker :-(

I noticed TERRIBLE performance when tracker was indexing my email!
