I had it on Maverick and have it on Natty as well. There's a problem 
with it with 64-bit. It installs with 32-bit only.

I am using it in 10.04 (updated till current patches), and have installed
libre office 3.3, and having no problem whatsoever.

in fact i had my colleague taking this on pendrive, and have installed it to
more than 10 - 15 friends, (both windows  linux) and every one had found
this very useful, inspite of everyone being Indian, are having pirated
copies of Office 2007.

Yes I have installed libre office 3.3. on WinXp - after uninstalling Sun
office. - works fine when compared to MS word 7 (removed long back due to

Even many thinks that windows XP , M$ Office , etc as a whole are just
having a cost not more than Rs 150 which is given to the Computer Service
Center(?) ,Anyway I'm happy with the Kerala Government action at the
Schools, They have completely removed M$ from the school syllabus up to 10th
grade and introduced programming language python , (before it was
QBAsic),gimp, open office etc

You may install Artha [http://artha.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Home]. It
works with Openoffice, Libreoffice, etc. But no right-click synonym
suggestions. You need to select the text and key combinations.

My experiences with LibreOffice has been pretty good. In fact, I did not
face any problem on migrating from OpenOffice to LibreOffice.

Also, I'm not sure, but I felt LibreOffice running somewhat faster compared
to OpenOffice.
