[உபுண்டு_தமிழ்] problem in viewing fonts

Hi,
My all tamil pages looks very dull and some of the letters are not
contibuous. I am using Ubuntu 8.04.
Please help me in over come this problem

[உபுண்டு_தமிழ்] Debian Installer: Yet another (last?) chance to get all keymap names translated in your language

Hi,

The keymap names used in the console-data Debian packages are displayed as
choices immediately after the language/country choices in any Debian install.

These are therefore part of a good and complete translation of the Debian
Installer. Having the translation incomplete is indeed a faily annoying
experience for users of your languages.

For most of the languages for which I send this notice, *very few* strings
are missing. So, indeed, completing this file is a *very* small effort.

I CC this mail to all people I know about who declared self interested in
Debian Installer or general Debian translations, in your languages. I really
hope to find someone with a few minutes available to complete this.

Please send the updated file to me, or submit it as a wishlist bug
against console-data.

I will update the package on Fri, 29 Aug 2008 or so, but any late
translation will also receive attention and be included in a further
upload...but Debian lenny is frozen so you'd better hurry up anyway..:-)

கேபசூ (கே பணிச் சூழல் - KDE) 4.1 தனின் தமிழாக்கப் பொதி

பதிவிறக்கக் கிடைக்கிறது. கேபசூ நான்குடனான குபுண்டு, டெபியன்
பயன்படுத்துவோர் apt-get install language-pack-kde-ta நிறுவி இதற்கான பொதிதான்
நிறுவப் படுகிறதா எனச் சோதித்து சொல்லவும். நானும் நிறுவிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்
(குபுண்டுவில்).

பெடோரா உள்ளிட்ட பிற திட்டங்களில் பங்களித்து வரும் நண்பர்களும் இதனை சோதித்து
பார்க்கவும்.

சோதித்து விட்டு சொல்கிறேன். கேபசூ தமிழாக்கத்திற்கு ஒரு வழு நோட்ட அமைப்பை
ஏற்படுத்த விருப்பம். மொழிபெயர்ப்பில் வழுக்கள்/ மாற்று பரிந்துரைகள் இருப்பின்
தெரியப்படுத்த இது உதவும். காலப் போக்கில் நல்லதொரு பலனைத் தரலாம். இதனை
திட்டமாக மாணவர் குழுவொன்று ஏற்று செய்வதையும் வரவேற்கிறோம்.

கருத்துக்களை வரவேற்கிறோம்.

அங்கு  ilanv அவர்கள் வழு அறிக்கையுடன் இணைத்த திரைக்காட்சி பார்க்க புகுப்பதிகை 
வினவுகிறது ubuntuforums. ஏற்கனவே அதற்கு எனக்கு ஒரு பயனர் கணக்கு 
ஏற்படுத்தியிருந்துள்ளேனோ என்பது நினைவிலில்லை. எனவே இதுவரை அவரது இணைப்பைப் 
பார்கவில்லை. ஆயினும் நான் கண்டறிந்த பின் வருபவனவை அவர் கூறும் வழுவாகத்தான் 
இருக்கும்.

1. உபுண்டு 8.04 அமர்வில் மொழியிடச்சூழல் (locale) தமிழ் ஆக (அதாவது சூழல் வேறி 
LANG=ta_IN ) அமைத்திருக்கையில் பயர்பாக்ஸ்  - 3.0  உலாவியில் ஜி-மெயில் வலைத்தள 
அஞ்சல் இடைமுகப்பில் பல இடங்களில் ஆங்கில எழுத்துக்கள இருக்க வேண்டியவிடங்களில் 
தமிழ் 
எழுத்துக்களாக வாசிக்கவியலத்தவாறு தென்படுகின்றன.

பின்வரும் இரு வலையிடங்களில் காட்டாக இரு திரைக்காட்ச்சிப் பிடிபுக்களைப் 
பார்க்கலாம் .

2.0 வரிசை  உலாவியில் அச்சிக்கல்கள் எதுவும் இல்லை !

4. அதே உபுண்டு 8.04 இல் மொழியிடச்சூழல் ஆங்கிலமாயின் (LANG=en_US.UTF-8) 
அச்சிக்கல்கள் எதுவும் இல்லை

5. தற்போது சோதனை வெளியீடாக இருக்கும் அடுத்த உபுண்டு இன்ரெபிட்  (Intrepid Ibex)  
அல்ஃபாவில்  தமிழ் மொழியிடச்சூழலில் பயர்பாக்ஸ்  - 3.0 இல் google சேவைகளில் 
மேற்கூறிய 
வழுக்கள் இல்லை. ஆனால் இன்னொரு வழு  உள்ளது. 

அதற்கான திரைக்காட்சிப் பிடிப்புடன் மேலும் சிக்கல் தீர்க்கும் மாற்று வழிகள் 
பற்றி இன்று 
மாலையின் பின் அடுத்த மடலில் தொடர்வேன்
