 Greetings everyone,

With the very helpful assistance of Russel (rcdavis) I have now
completed English translations of my Swedish adverts and put them on the

 https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MarketingTeam/Materials

Please take a look and see if you find something wrong, you easily go
blind on small details when you work with things...

Also, I apologize if I have stepped on somebody's toes by putting them
straight on the Wiki myself without asking anybody. In that case please
let me know the correct procedure.

I'm also open to help in producing translated versions if people send me
translations and help with proof reading.

Some of you might notice that one advert (Choose your warrior) is
missing. It's done but a detail regarding the license of the Tux
pictures is still a bit unclear so I want to have that sorted out before
 I put it up.

2008-06-08 Thread Bruno Barrera Yever
 one who is still
frustrated. If people's frustration levels get too high, we may lose
some skills, talents, and expertise this team can ill afford to lose -
and I'm not talking about myself here either. I think that most of the
people on this list are waiting for someone else, other than themselves.
to step up and do what needs done. Yesterday's meeting was an
opportunity for that to happen, and it only got halfway there.

That frustration was what really prompted my writing this article. The
marketing team has to be the first to make this change of perception - a
shift to a more global perspective - and then lead the rest of the
Ubuntu community to rethink its perspective to a more global
perspective. We will never make any inroads of any consequence on Bug #1
until we do. But, if and when that day comes. it will be awesome to see
the effects!!! I truly believe this and I am committed to bringing about
that change, even if it takes the rest of my life!!!

Sorry, running out the door, but has this been booked in ubuntu-meeting
because then we'll get the services of mootbot which will log action
points and log the meeting to a meeting file.

Please, can somebody book us and add us to the fridge as well? After
confirmation I will add it to the Issue 93 of UWN.

Also, from the messages I'm unsure where the meeting will be held,
 ubuntu-meeting, or ubuntu-marketing?

Personally I think it should be in ubuntu-meeting and leave the
ubuntu-marketing room for day-to-day live support.

 +1 for #ubuntu-meeting @ irc.freenode.net
All community teams (not LoCos though) use it and it works pretty well.

 Thanks in advance!

 Cheers,

a two hour meeting, which I feel would be a short one, makes it 10 pm
