You didn't search well enough [1] :) The doc.ubuntu.com server folks have hinted that the MT stuff will have to go, so we moved away from there to diy.devubuntu.com, our own :) (provided by the devubuntu project). The files are all under free licences - this particular one is mostly by me, so let's say GPLv3 (I'm a big fan :)). On another note, I have about a thousand of them printed out, and I send them out to the community for as cheap as possible [2] - and have already sent some 12000. But, more on-topic, it would be great if we could somehow have a list of what to do or not to do when sending/receiving internationally, to avoid such problems as much as possible. Maybe Canonical (shipit) or some other people have some experience with this, and they can share that experience? -- Jan Claeys -- ubuntu-marketing mailing list ubuntu-marketing@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-marketing

The sticker distribution model is currently excellent; The 'buyer' pays for the shipping by means of a Stamped-Address-Envelope (SAE). With System 76 donating/sponsoring the up-front production and initial shipment costs. Additionally, because the stickers are posted out to a central target in each country, the postage for each individual is kept low. Perhaps in the end, the same idea could be supported for CD distribution/postage as [AFAIK] shipping is the larger cost of shipit, even with worldwide ground transport being used. -Paul -- High on a tall bridge, surrounded by noisy lorries. I don't think it needs to be aluminum, but at least it should be somewhat sturdy. How about plastic? I know I won't have any left over - but you can order from me by email. the price is fair, I believe, and it will help the posters up. Even if I did estimate the price wrong, all extras will continue to help Ubuntu - either through marketing at my choice, or, if I run out of ideas, by being donated to Ubuntu.
