Given that the new 18.04 LTS release is now out, it is unlikely that this
issue will receive much attention in an SRU.  You might want to consider
upgrading to 18.04 instead to resolve this issue for yourself.

Apr-scan has a segmentation fault

The default arp-scan package version 1.9 crashes on startup. Currently on
Xubuntu 17.10. It's apparently fixed in the later versions but the patch
should be cherry picked for this release.
