That should work, right?

(I could be completely wrong, but I was under the impression that that
was the whole point of snap packages. Of course other issues could be
pending, such as the ARM architecture, compatibility with
Puritine/Libertine, etc.)

The phone isn't based on snappy yet.

Though it seems the ubuntu desktop/server archives don't let the phone
become truly rolling

Hi!

I understand you want the latest and greatest Firefox (and other X
apps), but the phone/tablet is based on 15.04 (Vivid), so for best
results, the Puritine/Libertine container should be based on 15.04 as
well. That said, version 44.0+build3-0ubuntu0.15.04.1 is the latest
Firefox available in the archive for 15.04.

After the update to OTA 11 the bq M10 tablet has Firefox 44.0 as a

on my Ubuntu Touch tablet?

As an owner of a pro 5, it's more "copper" than "rose gold" or
indeed "pink".

I'm really looking forward to using wireless convergence and
have been and
will be willing do deal with any bugs that come with the
system. They will

be fixed.
But I draw the line at pink/rose gold with white. A man has
his limits :)

Please someone at Canonical tell this to someone at Meizu

I think the point is somewhat moot for the pro 5, as it doesn't appear
there are any more of that model for sale.

Cheers,
It's possible to buy the android version, in any color. Do
yourself a favor
and buy it rooted. Then flashing UT should be a breeze.

but that way it won't count as an ubuntu phone sale

Hi Daniel, it seems it's related to what is described in bug #1579098

Thank you anyway.
