[Ubuntu-phone] Ubuntu design questionnaire

2016-09-21 Thread femma . ashraf

I've invited you to fill out the following form:
Ubuntu design questionnaire

To fill it out, visit:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd66PNkDz_NWkv7r1JbBg_oWELtbo2FalI3zekMozNptAEgrw/viewform?c=0&w=1&usp=mail_form_link

Hi everyone,

We are conducting a questionnaire to gain your thoughts and opinions on
some Ubuntu design work currently in progress. The questionnaire is made up
of two areas, colour and Scopes.

We would really appreciate it if you would be able to complete this
questionnaire, it's a great opportunity for us to hear your thoughts
and hopefully you'll find it fun too.

Thanks,
Femma and Paty

Re: [Ubuntu-phone] Tooltips in touch interface

2016-09-15 Thread Femma Ashraf
Hi Alexey,

Tooltips are under investigation. At the moment we are working on higher
priority components and patterns that are essential for Convergence.

Long press is currently reserved for another interaction, we are
investigating other ways of invoking a tooltip on touch.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we will keep you posted on our
progress with this feature.

What's the name of your app and do you have a github link to your app? I'll
do my best to chase this up for you.
Also, you can still enter the competition if you have made the app
convergent :-)

What in particular baffles you (so we can determine how best to help)?
