Re: [Ubuntu-phone] M10 "Ubuntu One" account - cannot be added.
I am on OTA 10.1 21.04.2016 Is this the correct current version? Quoting Nathan Haines <nhai...@ubuntu.com>: On 05/18/2016 03:46 AM, Paul Harmsworth wrote: How do I force a system update on the tablet You can't really "force" an update. There has to be one available on the channel your system images are supplied from, or there's nothing to update to. Your device will inform you when there's an update available. Then you start System Settings, choose Update, and then Ubuntu updates are listed if available. They phase in over a 24-hour period for retail devices. -- Nathan Haines Ubuntu - http://www.ubuntu.com/ -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone Post to : ubuntu-phone@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone Post to : ubuntu-phone@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

Good to know that the OS will get updated. How can the account be added from the command line? Re: [Ubuntu-phone] M10 "Ubuntu One" account - cannot be added.
I have done this. The account is not created. I have to enter the account details for every app that I want to download Quoting Alberto Mardegan <alberto.marde...@canonical.com>: On 18/05/2016 10:45, Paul Harmsworth wrote: But there is no way to enter the "Ubuntu One Account" It does not exist on the list of accounts to create. How do you do this from the command line please. With the next update, the Ubuntu One account is getting back in the list. However, you don't need to wait for that: the Ubuntu One account creation is automatically started when you trigger some action which require it (such as installing an application from the Ubuntu Store). Since you don't get updates without a Ununtu One account and I cannot add a Ubuntu One account - How will it ever be fixed? I guess that it was the Sudoku app that did it for me too. Quoting Vic G <victor.gonza...@bq.com>: Please take a look to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1516917 I've also reproduced this behaviour.
