I have discovered that UBports project, which is continuing Ubuntu Phone

I am encouraging you to consider funding UBports by becoming patreons to

There are actually lot's of free software projects and their supporting
organizations that needs our money too, may it be Debian and Ubuntu, or
maybe Free Software, Document and Linux Foundations, but these mentioned
have already their stones set, meanwhile UBports really needs a
kickstart (pun intended? :-) ).

Thanks for hearing.

fine, apart of smaller issues (like Dekko not saving sent mail to IMAP

these are more or less my daily use case.

Overall a fine device!

I have a BQ E5 as my only phone for about a year and a half now. In that
time I've had only very minor annoyances. Then about a month ago it
starting acti g out a little (problems with keyboard, loss of signal). I
wiped it and broughed it back to factory setting and now it's working even
better than it did out of the box! It seems every phone has its own story.

Most certenly.

Sorry if I assumed you did not read the article. As you may

I agree that the title is misleading. Maybe something like

[Ubuntu-phone] privacy issue concerning phone-dailer-reciver software

2016-06-15 Thread Tom Rausner
Hi All.

There is one function I miss very mouch for privacy reasons in the
dialer-reciver software. What I want is at "blacklisting"-option.

I want to be able to block specific phone numbers from getting through
but I also want to block callers who don't show their number.

Reason is this; where I live there is a lot of people who try to sell
stuff, beg for donations or right out abuse people's accounts. I'm want
all that stopped.

instead I want to reroute these calls to a custom mp3-file saying...
what ever I want to say to them. It would be nice if I could attach a
specific mp3-file to each number and a file specific to those calling
without showing their number. Nice feature -eh!

The UI design for printing has been done since February 2014, with
changes only to notifications and error design since then.

If you really are waiting for UI design, please let me know why.
