Re: [Ubuntu-phone] Aquaris M10 How to update
Today, after listening to youtube music for a couple of hours while doing chores in the kitchen, the update got through. I guess the problem was in the downloading process, maybe keeping the Tablet on helped. Probably the tablet switches wifi off at some point (internet is very slow here). Re: [Ubuntu-phone] Aquaris M10 How to update
By typing $ sudo ubuntu-device-flash touch --channel=ubuntu-touch/rc/bq-aquaris-pd.en \ --recovery-image recovery-frieza-.img --bootstrap I get 2016/04/23 21:23:32 Expecting the device to be in the bootloader... waiting and the terminal hangs on forever. I feel like my Lubuntu PC does not find the tablet. On connecting my tablet nothing happens, except that my PC asks if I want to see the content of the added folders. On typing lsusb for the M10 I get this line: Bus 001 Device 021: ID 2a47:2008 (I have added a file ~/.android/adb_usb.ini with this line 0x2a47 as suggested in other forums). If I activate the developer mode, the Table gets disconnected from the PC. You should no run this: a) without having downloaded the exact file recovery-frieza-.img b) an USB connection to the M10 c) having put the M10 into bootloader state And, it will wipe all the data in your M10. Some folks who had installed packages after making the system writable had issues with the system partition filling up. Check https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1568889 starting with comment #11. /android/cache/recovery/last_log should tell us more. also "df | grep system" Pat On Fri, Apr 22, 2016 at 3:57 PM, Andreawrote: > Dear UbuntuPhoneXperts, > > I have this new M10. [Ubuntu-phone] Aquaris M10 How to update
Dear UbuntuPhoneXperts, I have this new M10. It worked fine, but couldn't get it to update to OTA-10. I tried to reset it and run the update tool. No way, after downloading it, the update fails. Am I doing anything wrong after resetting? The tablet powers on and goes through the setup process, then I check Settings-->Updates, the system Update starts and after downloading it fails.
