[Ubuntu-phonedations-bugs] [Bug 1592232] Re: USA: Meizu Pro 5 changes from cellular carrier to "Denied" (AT and T-Mobile)
I was just able to capture the inverse using the same script. Cricket was disconnected and AT was connected without a problem (See attached picture.) Again, my phone hasn't moved. It's been charging in the same location this entire time. However, service has changed for both SIM cards. There seem to be lots of interesting changes between the last log that I posted and this one. Hope it helps! [Ubuntu-phonedations-bugs] [Bug 1592232] Re: USA: Meizu Pro 5 changes from cellular carrier to "Denied" (AT and T-Mobile)
Here you go, Alfonso. I'm happy to provide any additional information that I edited out in an email to you directly if you need it. Additional information about this scenario: RIL 1 has the AT SIM card RIL 0 has the Cricket SIM card Cricket is an MVNO of AT However, as I sat in the same exact spot as I did yesterday when I recorded the previous video, my phone said "DENIED" for AT (2G/3G) but Cricket (2G Saves Battery) was fine with solid signal. I executed the list-modems script, and the AT network came back as an [H] network with 2Mbps download speeds. Obviously not the best speeds that I've seen, but far from "DENIED." Updating from "DENIED" to "H" while executing the script may be a coincidence, but I figured that I would mention it. /usr/share/ofono/scripts/list-modems log ___ [ /ril_1 ] Revision = S333_M86_20151002_CHNOPEN_MZ024 Lockdown = 0 Serial = x (Edited) Powered = 1 Model = Fake Modem Model Features = gprs ussd net sms rat sim Emergency = 0 Type = hardware Online = 1 Manufacturer = Fake Manufacturer Interfaces = org.ofono.ConnectionManager org.ofono.CallForwarding org.ofono.CallBarring org.ofono.CallSettings org.ofono.SupplementaryServices org.ofono.NetworkRegistration org.ofono.Phonebook org.ofono.PushNotification org.ofono.MessageManager org.ofono.NetworkTime org.ofono.MessageWaiting org.ofono.RadioSettings org.ofono.SimManager org.ofono.CallVolume org.ofono.VoiceCallManager [ org.ofono.ConnectionManager ] RoamingAllowed = 1 Attached = 0 Powered = 1 [ org.ofono.CallForwarding ] VoiceBusy = VoiceUnconditional = VoiceNoReply = ForwardingFlagOnSim = 1 VoiceNotReachable = VoiceNoReplyTimeout = 20 [ org.ofono.CallBarring ] VoiceIncoming = disabled VoiceOutgoing = disabled [ org.ofono.CallSettings ] CalledLinePresentation = disabled CallingLinePresentation = enabled ConnectedLinePresentation = unknown ConnectedLineRestriction = unknown VoiceCallWaiting = enabled CallingLineRestriction = off HideCallerId = default CallingNamePresentation = unknown [ org.ofono.SupplementaryServices ] State = idle [ org.ofono.NetworkRegistration ] Status = registered Mode = auto-only Technology = hspa Strength = 25 CellId = 160075535 Name = LocationAreaCode = 7981 [ org.ofono.Phonebook ] [ org.ofono.PushNotification ] [ org.ofono.MessageManager ] Bearer = cs-preferred ServiceCenterAddress = +13123149810 Alphabet = default UseDeliveryReports = 0 [ org.ofono.NetworkTime ] [ org.ofono.MessageWaiting ] VoicemailMailboxNumber = +14432803092 VoicemailMessageCount = 0 VoicemailWaiting = 0 [ org.ofono.RadioSettings ] FastDormancy = 0 AvailableTechnologies = gsm umts lte TechnologyPreference = umts [ org.ofono.SimManager ] MobileCountryCode = 310 MobileNetworkCode = 410 Present = 1 Retries = BarredDialing = 0 CardIdentifier = (Edited) FixedDialing = 0 LockedPins = PreferredLanguages = en SubscriberIdentity = (Edited) SubscriberNumbers = xxx (Edited) PinRequired = none [ org.ofono.CallVolume ] MicrophoneVolume = 0 Muted = 0 SpeakerVolume = 0 [ org.ofono.VoiceCallManager ] EmergencyNumbers = 08 000 999 110 120 911 122 112 118 119 [ /ril_0 ] Revision = S333_M86_20151002_CHNOPEN_MZ024 Lockdown = 0 Serial = x Powered = 1 Model = Fake Modem Model Features = gprs ussd net sms rat sim Emergency = 0 Type = hardware Online = 1 Manufacturer = Fake Manufacturer Interfaces = org.ofono.ConnectionManager org.ofono.CallForwarding org.ofono.CallBarring org.ofono.CallSettings org.ofono.SupplementaryServices org.ofono.NetworkRegistration org.ofono.Phonebook org.ofono.PushNotification org.ofono.MessageManager org.ofono.NetworkTime org.ofono.MessageWaiting org.ofono.RadioSettings org.ofono.SimManager org.ofono.CallVolume org.ofono.VoiceCallManager [ org.ofono.ConnectionManager ] RoamingAllowed = 1 Bearer = none Attached = 0 Powered = 0 [ org.ofono.CallForwarding ] VoiceBusy = VoiceUnconditional = VoiceNoReply = ForwardingFlagOnSim = 1 VoiceNotReachable = VoiceNoReplyTimeout = 20 [ org.ofono.CallBarring ] VoiceIncoming = disabled VoiceOutgoing = disabled [ org.ofono.CallSettings ] CalledLinePresentation = disabled CallingLinePresentation = enabled ConnectedLinePresentation =

[Ubuntu-phonedations-bugs] [Bug 1500242] Re: Bluetooth devices (Jabra BT250, Audi A3 car kit) can not be connected with BQ Aquaris 4.5
Aquaris E5 Porsche 911 car 997 (2011) Update with OTA 12: After prompting to connect with a 4-digit pin code, the Ubuntu phone connected with the car and synchronized the adressbook. Phone calls did not work: dealing and connection created, but no sound over the car microphone and speakers. After leaving and returning to the car the phone did not reconnect anymore. The same happens after turning the car audio off and on again. No way to reconnect the Aquaris E5 to the car. After so many OTAs it is a disaster with this bluetooth function. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Phonedations bugs, which is subscribed to ofono in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1500242 Title: Bluetooth devices (Jabra BT250, Audi A3 car kit) can not be connected with BQ Aquaris 4.5 Status in Canonical System Image: In Progress Status in bluez package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in ofono package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: STEPS: Requirements: Aquaris E4.5, Jabra BT250 blue tooth handset device (rather old one supports blue tooth 1.1 and therefore I thought should be no issue) or Audi car kit (A3 2012 model) 1. Put Jabra BT250 into receiving mode 2. Phone searches automatically every 15 - 30 seconds for a new blue tooth device 3. Phone finds Jabra BT250 and asks for pairing code 4. Enter code into phone 5. Jabra BT250 automatically exits the pairing mode (which is a sign that pairing should have worked) 6. Phone looses connection to Jabra BT250 7. Manual reconnection via phone works (shows Jabra BT250 as being connected) but ignores the device Same behaviour with Audi car kit (Audi A3, 2012 model) EXPECTED: I expect that the blue tooth kits work similar to my Seat Alhambra (also 2012 model) where the blue tooth pairing etc. works great (except some bugs which are already filed).
