Hi Braden,

Glad to have you around! For now, I also recommend you stick with the QA
community.

Otherwise, if you really want to centralize the bug reports in a different, it
doesn't hurt to try. But be aware we already have dedicated groups on this,
like the Bug squad. Also, lp is the primary bug tracker in all things Ubuntu.

Saucy 13.10 Beta2 Testing Report

2013-09-27 Thread Paul Larson
The testing report for Saucy 13.10 Beta2 has been published to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/ReleaseReports/SaucyBeta2TestingReport

Thanks a lot to all those who participated in testing this release. We have
only a couple of weeks before the RC milestone lands, then the final
testing shortly after. Watch for those milestones to start appearing on the
iso tracker [1], and please contribute to the testing of them if you have a
bit of spare time.

Thanks,
Paul Larson

The Ubuntu Quality team is not inactive. It's very active and by
joining this very list you're best placed to talk to the very people
who are in that team.

I'd hold off creating more teams and sites for now, and read up a bit
on the existing team and get stuck in. Join us in #ubuntu-quality on

Re: Possible Listing Page

2013-09-27 Thread Braden Wolfe
Thanks for the compliment!
Noticed that both teams are inactive (Or at least from what I can see), so
I set up a new LP. If the team starts to grow, or becomes regularly active
I will have to ask for some help managing the page (Keep in mind that I am
still 15). The general website (http://ubutest.info/) is under
construction, any help/ideas would be much appreciated. The LP is linked in
on that website, as well as on Launchpad (https://launchpad.net/~ubu-test).
Again, any feedback, or at this point (Considering I havent done much yet)
suggestions on anything related would be, again, much appreciated. The
mailing list is currently set up for subscribers, and a general inquire
email is here (i...@ubutest.info). For anybody who would like to help admin
the team, I will link your account into the forwarding of that email (It
forwards all emails sent to it back to my main email). Thanks guys! Cant
wait to see how this all goes :)

First, that's some enthusiasm! Don't lose it :)

However, Ubuntu Teams should, AFAIK, be using Launchpad for that, yes?

Here you go: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-testing

I just checked and noticed that there is another team but it's not active on LP:

Possible Listing Page

2013-09-27 Thread Braden Wolfe
Hey all,
So I decided to purchase the domain ubutest.info as a possible website for
registering as a bug tester, as well as having contact information to all
current testers if they would want to be listed. Any thoughts on this?

[Facebook] Ubuntu Quality Group

2013-09-27 Thread Ali Linx (amjjawad)
Hi,

https://www.facebook.com/groups/UbuntuQA/

We need more 'Active' Admins for this group. For now, Myself and Phill are
doing almost everything from A-Z and I have to dedicate more time daily for
this group since it has now more members.

If someone with Facebook Experience + Quality Experience who would like to
help on that area, please let me know :)
It is not a rocket science, if you have an account on Facebook and you are
a member over here, you are the best candidate for this so please, don't
worry about being an expert to do this :)

Thank you!
