Re: New to Ubuntu Quality

2014-08-07 Thread Nicholas Skaggs
Welcome Alex! If you've not yet seen the wiki, have a look through all
the information provided there, especially the roles page:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Roles

This should help you understand what types of activities are available
and help guide you on starting some of them. Please feel free to ask
questions at any time of course. We are always working on testcases,
both manual tests which are written in English, as well as automated
tests which are typically written in python.

No matter where you end up I recommend installing a copy of utopic and
running through an ISO test on the isotracker to do it. Don't forget to
swing by IRC for realtime help!

See all the ways to stay in touch;
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Contact

Glad to have you aboard!

Nicholas

Hello everyone,

Hello, I am new. My name is Alex and I was looking for something to do so
I ended up subscribing to this hoping it would give me something to do. My
technical programming skills are very minimal to something like Pong (in
java). So with that being said I feel like I can actually do some things
that are posted within this mailing list.
