RE: Invisible LibreOffice Writer window
Ian, do you think it is a bug or does that functionality have an intended purpose? As well, in the future it is usually a good idea to specify exactly what version of Ubuntu + problematic software you are using with the initial email :) As for a user being able to trigger an invisible window and then not being able to do anything else, I'd say that is a bug just based on the description and I would report it against the LibreOffice version you are using. But at the same time, I haven't been able to reproduce your issue with the latest version (4.4 x64) under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x64 so... Hope that helps, Damir > Date: Tue, 3 Feb 2015 17:22:21 + > Subject: Re: Invisible LibreOffice Writer window > From: ian.bruntl...@gmail.com > To: ubuntu-quality@lists.ubuntu.com > > Did some more research today. Re: Invisible LibreOffice Writer window
Did some more research today. Discovered that ALT+SPACE brings up the Maximise / Minimise / Resize / etc menu. Got to my invisible window, pressed ALT+SPACE, resized the window to something visible and then... everything started working again :) On 2 February 2015 at 16:20, Ian Bruntlett wrote: > Fixed! > > Simply press CTRL+Super+ either Down or Up (I can't remember which). > > -- > -- ACCU - Professionalism in programming - http://www.accu.org > -- Free Software page - currently down > -- My writing - https://sites.google.com/site/ianbruntlett/ > -- -- ACCU - Professionalism in programming - http://www.accu.org -- Free Software page - currently down -- My writing - https://sites.google.com/site/ianbruntlett/ -- Ubuntu-quality mailing list Ubuntu-quality@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-quality
