.screenrc entries to show always the windows in bottom

2011-03-03 Thread Tapas Mishra
I added following to my .screenrc
caption always “%H %c | %-w%{=}%n-%t%{-}%+w”

but when I execute screen then only for some initial seconds I can see
the window name and some other details in bottom.
How can I set it to permanently view?
There is one more file .screen
which has
hardstatus alwayslastline

In my .screenrc what should I modify?

Have you used byobu https://launchpad.net/byobu ? You default installation
should have it installed., your function keys to create and navigate between
them.
