[Bug 236640] Re: iSCSI install fails under hardy
Steve, there was a response to comment 11 in comment 13. I can't seem to find where to get the daily build (my google-fu is weak today) I just tried the 9.04 server release CD with iscsi=true and was greeted with the dialog asking me to choose a module for my storage device. I grepped syslog for iscsi and the only mention was the boot command line. open-iscsi deb and udeb are present in the pool, but they don't appear to be loaded by anything. -- iSCSI install fails under hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236640 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to open-iscsi in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 329974 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329974 I don't even have the printing selection anymore!! And I never had the windows printer via Samba.. I am going to reload 9.04 completely and wait.. I have spent much too much time on this already. Ubuntu is great for everything it does but for even a moderate techy like me the command window functions have too many pitfalls. ron On Fri, Jun 5, 2009 at 10:29 PM, twrock wrote: > *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 329974 *** >https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329974 > > I was successful with this workaround. [Bug 153868] Re: package mysql-server-5.0 5.0.45-1ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade - Access denied for user 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost'
I got this bug and was directed here. For the record, I think it occured for me because I had created the database from a complete mysqldump of all databases - *including the mysql database* - from another machine. So the password for debian-sys-maint would have been set for the other machine rather than the one it was actually running on. Changing the password as per the instructions above worked for me. I don't think this is really a distro error. -- package mysql-server-5.0 5.0.45-1ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade - Access denied for user 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153868 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-dfsg-5.0 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
