I had this problem in 10.10, and now in 11.04. I'm mounting a dir other than home and on wired network. I managed to work around this by stopping autofs on shutdown and reboot: sudo update-rc.d autofs stop 25 0 6 . No ill effects till now (can't imagine what would be worse than having to press the power button...) Hi bitinerant, thanks for taking the time to file this bug report and help us make Ubuntu better. This is confirmed, but only on i386. 64-bit architectures produce the appropriate certificate. I also believe this may be fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.0 [1], which is in Oneiric as of today. I will build a test i386 chroot and confirm that fix as well. Marking Confirmed, setting Importance to Medium. That is fine, I finally found out that I could get things configured using the rules file. This built the dict_sqlite.so needed by postfix. Seems like what is missing is a postfix-sqlite package.
