[Bug 711534] Re: euca-upload-bundle fails when connecting to Eucalyptus and a path in bucket is specified
after a chat on #eucalyptus-devel, this is not present (the mis-handling of /) in eucal3 (marking invalid for -devel). Sorry, the workaround I listed above was for precise, and actually was incomplete (you also need to ln -s /run/shm $rootfs/dev/shm). OK definitively not fixed, RESOLVCONF=yes is added into /etc/default/bind9 when the file is created for the first time by the installation of bind9.. I can't go with a complete patch suggestion due to my restricted knowledge in packaging, but the problem seems to belongs to line 87 to 92 of bind9.postinst in the source package : db_get bind9/run-resolvconf if [ ! -z "$RET" ] && [ "$RET" = "true" ]; then echo "RESOLVCONF=yes" >> $config else echo "RESOLVCONF=no" >> $config fi I don't know what $RET refers to, perhaps it interacts with bind9.config? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to bind9 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/933723 Title: bind9 registering itself with resolvconf but not set up to forward queries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bind9/+bug/933723/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 933723] Re: bind9 registering itself with resolvconf but not set up to forward queries
OK, here is what happens : RESOLVCONF=yes must be changed to RESOLVCONF=no in /etc/default/bind9 by the user. The bind9 update won't change this default setting if it is already set. [Bug 598385] Re: munin plugin exim_mailqueue has incorrect graph configuration
Hi Vibhav Thanks for the revised debdiff; much appreciated. Precise has just entered Final Freeze and as munin is part of Ubuntu main this bug does not meet the release critical requirements now in place so we need to defer this fix to next release. Guess we might also get a new upstream release at some point in the next few months so might be able to drop this and a number of other patches. Targetting to Q-series. ** Also affects: munin (Ubuntu Q-series) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to munin in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/598385 Title: munin plugin exim_mailqueue has incorrect graph configuration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/munin/+bug/598385/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 959037] Re: Don't start local resolver if a DNS server is installed
Since this won't be fixed for Precise from the network-manager side, the dnsmasq package now is broken by default in desktop installations. So I've added the dnsmasq package in the "Affects:" list, to make it easier for people to locate the cause of the problem so that fewer duplicate bug reports are filed (it's an LTS release, I suppose many people will be bitten by it in the next 5 years). Also, even though it's not the correct place to solve the problem, the dnsmasq.postinst could be temporarily modified to disable the local resolver. I can propose a patch for it if the maintainer is interested. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dnsmasq in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/959037 Title: Don't start local resolver if a DNS server is installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+bug/959037/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Blueprint servercloud-p-arm-service-orchestration] Enabling juju for ARM
Blueprint changed by Robie Basak: Whiteboard changed: Question: Is this using juju for direct deployment, or via Orchestra? -- Daviey Via Orchestra. I think the main thing to test is juju because of it's reliance on java with zookeeper. We don't need to discuss anything, just test and fix bugs. -- Robbie For juju to work on ARM, I am assuming that: 1. ARM hardware will support IPMI for power management 2. ARM hardware will support pxelinux emulation for boot 3. cobbler's existing IPMI support will work with ARM IPMI Status: - There are two modes of operation: running juju in a local environment, and running juju via orchestra. juju currently fails to run on ARM in a local environment, and I am working on this - but this is blocking me from clearing the first five work items. Now that I have three pandas, I can test juju via orchestra also. I expect either to clear the first four work items as soon as I get juju working like this, or to find a series of ARM-specific bugs that I will need to fix first. + The announcement of MAAS is exciting for the ARM Server story, as MAAS is exactly what ARM servers need! As MAAS will have replaced or enhanced cobbler and orchestra by the time ARM server hardware is generally available, it now makes more sense to work on MAAS on ARM directly. In line with the expected ARM server hardware delivery timetable, this is a task for Q, so I've postponed work items appropriately.
