Hi David, It's looking good :-) I made the recommended changes and at first the result was the same. I had also to comment out "read only = yes" from the "[print$]" section - doing so allowed me to successfully set the printer name. My XP test box can now connect to the renamed printer. I filed it for i386 did not test on 64bit... I did not see why a tiny pair
of ipv4 load balancers would need 64bit arch.
