[Bug 997978] Re: KVM images lose connectivity with bridged network
I am also seeing the problem on our Ganeti managed KVM under Ubuntu 12.04. In our case on those servers with higher network load, connectivity to the guest is lost but may take one to two days. The one server with low network traffic has never lost connectivity. By the way the loss of connectivity problem does not happen with 12.04 guests running on 11.10 containers. I have patched to the current levels but still see the problem. The kvm package installed is; kvm 1:84+dfsg-0ubuntu16+1.0+noroms+0ubuntu14.1 Is there something else I should be looking for? [Bug 522509] Re: [FFE] tftpd-hpa doesn't start on boot
I have the same problem on 12.04.1 with tftpd-hpa version 5.2-1ubuntu1. I have a single interface, eth0, which gets its address via DHCP. On boot, tftpd-hpa fails to start with the "cannot resolve local IPv4 bind address:0.0.0.0". "sudo status tftpd-hpa" returns "tftpd-hpa start/running", but with no "process " reported. "sudo restart tftpd-hpa" successfully restarts the daemon, and now "sudo status tftpd-hpa" returns "tftpd-hpa start/running, process 16083". [Bug 1041120] Re: Meta bug for tracking Openstack Stable Updates
Please find the attached test log from the Ubuntu Server Team's CI infrastructure. As part of the verification process for this bug, the OpenStack components have been deployed and configured across multiple nodes using precise-proposed as an installation source. After successful bring-up and configuration of the cluster, a number of exercises and smoke tests have be invoked to ensure the updated package did not introduce any regressions. A number of test iterations were carried out to catch any possible transient errors. Please note the list of installed packages at the top and bottom of the report. For records of upstream test coverage of this update, please see the individual bug reports. As per the provisional Micro Release Exception granted to this package by the Technical Board, we hope this contributes toward verification of this update. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nova in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041120 Title: Meta bug for tracking Openstack Stable Updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glance/+bug/1041120/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1044553] [NEW] 'password' setting broken by usergroup changes
Public bug reported: I've posted this little snippet of cloud-config syntax different places: #cloud-config password: passw0rd chpasswd: { expire: False } ssh_pwauth: True And I'd like for it to continue to work. It was broken by the user- group changes and currently gives a stack trace in the cc_set_passwords module. That exception also breaks the 'ssh_pwauth'. basically, I think we should do the following: * if 'password' appears in cloud-config, then apply it to the 'default' user if that user does not have a password set. * if there is no default user, just complain (log warn) and do not do anything. Thanks for the feedback. I've looked through the commit log and found no obvious single or group of commits which would solve this. [Bug 1044430] [NEW] Php ftp_* eats memory
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hi! Today i write a small "Transport"-Class for my web deployment-System. Its a php-Script "behind" apache2 where i can post json_arrays to and the deployserver than starts to get git-Repository, check files and deploy them by ftp, ftps and so on. I wonmder about memory usage when in transfer big projects (typo3-Projects for example). I use xdebug to find memory leaks and firgure out that ftp_* Commands in php are the "memory eater". So i write a small script that only connects to a ftp-server and ftp_put a file 1 times and then close the connection. Result: The memory gets lower and lower and also after ftp_close never will be free'd. Only a restart of apache2 helps. [Bug 1003842] Re: dnsmasq sometimes fails to resolve private names in networks with non-equivalent nameservers
I also have this problem when I use nm-dnsmasq and connect to work over VPN.
