0ubuntu2.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag
from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the
bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to
verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help
us make a better decision.

[Bug 1180867] Re: cloud-config merging not forward or backward compatible

2013-06-04 Thread Chris Halse Rogers
It's not clear to me that this bug is an appropriate SRU candidate.

If you believe it is, please expand on the justification. It might help
for you to follow the SRU bug template¹ - you're also missing a test-
case we can use to verify that this bug is fixed, and what should be
checked to be confident that the change doesn't introduce any
regressions.

2013-06-04 Thread Juan Pavlik
Hi, i'd like to help to fix this problem. Right now i've stopped my
openstack deployment because of this bug. I'll try to write a o2cb
upstart script to boot, then i'll go for the ocfs2 script. If anyone
wants to help, just let me know! Thanks

Note to sponsors/SRU team: the impact of this bug is limited to slapd
only and I really don't expect people to be running LDAP servers on
quantal or raring: therefore I think it's most important to fix this in
precise, less so for those others.

[Bug 1186501] Re: LXC won't tear down VETH device on shutdown

2013-06-04 Thread Serge Hallyn
I can't reproduce this on an uptodate raring server.

You filed this against qemu-kvm, but the bug is claimed against lxc. I
will mark ti as affecting lxc - please then run 'apport-collect 1186501'
to get some helpful debugging info uploaded to the bug.

It might also help to do a 'lxc-start -n -l info -o
lxc.debug', then attach lxc.debug to this bug.

actually I"m not sure how i should mark this status. It's fix released
as it's not broken in saucy (or raring). i can't mark it as affecting

target.

Thanks for the merge request.

We rate this security vulnerability as being "low" priority, which means
we will not publish a security update for it unless another more
important issue turns up in openvpn, at which point we will bundle both
updates together.

I am unsubscribing ubuntu-security-sponsors for now.
