[Bug 1203647] Re: whois domain .id Not found: -V Md5.0

2013-07-22 Thread Paul White
I have tested this with pandi.or.id.

http://whois.domaintools.com/pandi.or.id gives the expected results,
i.e. registration and IP details

Command "whois pandi.or.id" gives error of "Not found: -V Md5.0
pandi.or.id"

Thanks for the patch!

Unfortunately, the patch is incomplete for the following reasons:
 - it is simply a patch and does not update the packaging that is suitable for
SRU. Please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates for details on how
to get your patch sponsored
 - performing 'quilt pop -a' then adding 04-quantal-module-backport.patch to
debian/patches and updating the debian/patches/series file to apply it, then
using 'quilt push -a' does not apply:

[Bug 1194940] Re: open-vm-dkms 2013.04.16-1098359-0ubuntu1: open-vm-tools kernel module failed to build [control.c:211:4: error: implicit declaration of function ‘create_proc_entry’]

2013-07-22 Thread Nate Muench (Mink)
No new upstream release, yet.

But I want to say I plan on submitting what I have, it still won't work
with Linux 3.10 (I have no clue where to begin without breaking
everything), but at least it's something.

I guess this is because Upstream doesn't do releases monthly anymore
(which is a great shame), I haven't been able to clone their git repo
(which I recall only gets updated just before a release).

Assuming, there's no upstream release, or someone who knows the kernel
itself better than I do supplies me with a patch. I plan on creating
merge proposal at week's end.

However, the report is rather old, so its possible this has been fixed
in newer releases. Here is the original description from the original
reporter:

Squid3 commonly crashes several times a day with no apparent reason. Up
until now I used squid which worked fine. This happens after upgrading
to squid3.

In /var/log/squid3/cache.log, the last lines are:

2009/06/25 13:12:52| assertion failed: store_swapout.cc:317: "mem->swapout.sio

In syslog, this is reported:
