[Bug 1245113] Re: libapache2-mod-auth-pgsql is missing in 13.10 amd64

2013-11-26 Thread Robie Basak
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

libapache2-mod-auth-pgsql 2.0.3-6 has automatically been imported into
Ubuntu and is thus present in the current development release, so I'm
marking this bug as Fix Released.

If you need a fix for 13.10, please comment with a justification against
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#When, and I'll put it in my
backlog. Note that that SRU team would need to make a final decision.

[Bug 1255031] Re: package apache2 2.2.22-1ubuntu1.4 failed to install/upgrade: el subproceso instalado el script post-removal devolvió el código de salida de error 1

2013-11-26 Thread Robie Basak
Thank you for your report.

This looks like a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in
Ubuntu.

Specifically, you're using Apache 2.2 with PHP 5.5. Ubuntu has never
shipped this combination, so an automated upgrade of PHP to 5.5 on 12.04
is not directly supported by Ubuntu itself. I believe that you probably
can run this combination on Ubuntu, but you will need to fix any local
configuration issues yourself.

You can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here:
http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community

Since we use this bug tracker to track bugs in Ubuntu, rather than
configuration problems, I'm marking this bug as Invalid. This helps us
to focus on fixing the bugs that we are actually able to work on.

If you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful
to read How to report bugs effectively
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem,
explain why you believe this is a bug rather than a problem specific to
your system, and then change the bug status back to New.

[Bug 1255171] [NEW] Init script is missing status verb

2013-11-26 Thread Carlos A. Carnero Delgado
Public bug reported:

While trying to use SaltStack (http://www.saltstack.com/community/) for
configuration management I found that the init script is missing the
status verb. While not terribly useful, it is something that Salt uses
to detect whether the service is running or not.

I have attached a patch to the init script that provides this simple
function. While I'm using 12.04 LTS, it could be useful into other
versions/releases as well, IMO.

[Bug 1153626] Re: Multiple Interfaces and IPs not detected in AWS VPC

2013-11-26 Thread Forest
Sure. The part that stood out to me was refreshes secondary IP
addresses during DHCP lease renewal. I haven't examined Amazon's code,
but that description reads like it solves the problem of automatically
configuring additional IP addresses without requiring additional network
interfaces.

[Bug 1255414] [NEW] one step public key creation from existing private key

2013-11-26 Thread Deepak Jadiya
Public bug reported:

Typically, one would have private key when creating resources in cloud.
At times if one's environment is cleaned up, the public key uploaded in cloud
could be lost,
leaving one with non-utilizable private key.
It would be nice if there is a one step public key upload from existing private
key cli/api support.
This way one would not have to keep inventories of private keys to work on
different cloud environment.

** Affects: python-novaclient (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
