[Bug 1384394] Re: /etc/network/interfaces: "dns-nameservers" entries for bridge "br*" interfaces are ignored i.e. they are not listed in "/etc/resolv.conf" when invoking "ifup" command
I gather that you want to use the fact that the resolver happens to try one address after another, in the order that they are listed in resolv.conf, as a way of giving precedence of one domain name system (the service provided over the br* interfaces) over another domain name system (the one serving the Internet and accessible by the forwarder on your machine at 127.0.1.1). That's not how DNS or the resolver were meant to be used and hence that is not implemented by the default system configuration. Given your aims, it's up to you to configure /etc/resolvconf/interface-order so that br* is listed before lo*. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to dnsmasq in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1384394 Title: /etc/network/interfaces: "dns-nameservers" entries for bridge "br*" interfaces are ignored i.e. they are not listed in "/etc/resolv.conf" when invoking "ifup" command To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dnsmasq/+bug/1384394/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1392319] Re: naxsi-ui-extract does not work
That does not mean that the bug itself is a "security" bug per the guidelines for bugs. A security bug is a bug which has a documented security flaw in the program itself. The program 'not working' does not constitute a security bug on its own. I've checked with the server team as well - this bug is not a 'security' bug - it is, rather, a bug in the program which prevents it from loading, and it does not fall into the criterion for a security bug. However, this package is in Universe, which means that it is community maintained. If someone from the community provides a debdiff and/or code that is satisfactory of the Stable Release Update requirements (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates) then it can be reviewed and considered as an upload/update for this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nginx in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1392319 Title: naxsi-ui-extract does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nginx/+bug/1392319/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1374999] Re: iSCSI volume detach does not correctly remove the multipath device descriptors
I have created the following PPA: https://launchpad.net/~inaddy/+archive/ubuntu/lp1374999 containing a hotfixed version of nova for Trusty. I'll keep this PPA available, updating when needed, until we get upstream fix accepted and backported. As soon as the fix is backported we can ask for a "SRU" for Trusty's nova version. I'm assigning this case temporary to Felipe (responsible to propose the fix upstream) while I'm on vacation. Let me know if there any issues. [Bug 1392647] [NEW] smbstatus reports dead connection as active
Public bug reported: I have a home server running ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS. It was setup originally with ubuntu 12.04 LTS and running satisfactorily for more than 2 years The server checks every 10 minutes and goes to sleep if no active clients are detected. My main PC is a w7 box connecting to some samba shares on the server. In the past 3 weeks it happened 3 times that the server reported an active samba connection although the client had long been shutdown. At the first occurrence I set the deadtime parameter to 10 but this did not solve the problem. The deadtime parameter was not there at all for the past 2 years and the problem only showed up lately so I think the cause of problem is somewhere else. This is the output of smbstatus -v taken about 2 hours after the client has been powered off. It should not show the 4366 PID lines.
