[Bug 1529319] [NEW] VM constantly tries to access /run/shm/lttng-ust-wait-5

2015-12-25 Thread Mohammed Naser
Public bug reported:

This seems like a regression of the following bug

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1432644

It seems that the path is now /run/shm/lttng-ust-wait-5 which results in
a flood of the following

Dec 26 04:47:44 compute-4-ca-ymq-2 kernel: [1751079.003742] audit:
type=1400 audit(1451105264.249:80133): apparmor="DENIED"

name="/run/shm/lttng-ust-wait-5" pid=5018 comm="qemu-system-x86"

The fix would be similar

[Bug 1432644] Re: VM permanently tries to read /dev/shm/lttng-ust-wait-5

2015-12-25 Thread Mohammed Naser
It looks like this bug has regressed due to the path of lttng-ust-wait-5
path changing to the following:

/run/shm/lttng-ust-wait-5

Would someoone be kind enough to release a fix for this?

[Bug 1211110] Re: network manager openvpn dns push data not updating system DNS addresses

2015-12-25 Thread tjk
I just discovered this issue in a newly upgraded version of Lubuntu
15.10. I tried two of the possible solutions in this thread. The "sudo
openvpn --config file.ovpn" doesn't work for me, it gives an error:
"Error: Object 'nm' is unknown"...This DNS leak is really annoying
because it makes my vpn connection useless!

[Bug 1529195] [NEW] Separating ntlm_auth

2015-12-25 Thread Sworddragon
Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with winbind 2:4.1.20+dfsg-1ubuntu5 and if
I'm starting applications with Wine I'm often seeing the line
"err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated.
Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can
find it in the winbind package of your distribution.". Installing
winbind solves this issue but has the disadvantage that several
additional unneeded services are then running in the background even if
Wine is not in use. Maybe ntlm_auth can be separated in its own package
so that it can be installed to satisfy Wine without needing all the
other stuff.
