[Bug 1546978] Re: apparmor does not allow to run qemu-dm executable
Hi James, the kilo libvirt package (which I assume this is?) does indeed not have a rule for qemu-dm, which does exist in xen-utils-4.4 in trusty (and there is no xen-utils in kilo archive). Note this bug is not valid against the xenial libvirt package, as there is no qemu-dm binary in xen-utils-4.6 there. I also can't fix it in vivid since that is no longer valid. It is valid in 14.04 though so I'll mark it as affecting that. ** Also affects: libvirt (Ubuntu Trusty) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to libvirt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1546978 Title: apparmor does not allow to run qemu-dm executable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1546978/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 1535063] Re: package libvirt-bin 1.2.16-2ubuntu11.15.10.2 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus script post-installation installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 1
Since this was installed as 14.04, and libvirt-bin is not installed masked by default, I'll assume this was a remnant of a previous install? This shouldn't prevent the package install from succeeding though. Indeed if I mask libvirt-bin and then do a apt-get install --reinstall libvirt-bin, the install does succeed. Even an install of gnome-boxes succeeds. I'll mark this invalid meaning we've lost access to the reproducer, but if you can reproduce at well please reply. ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to libvirt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1535063 Title: package libvirt-bin 1.2.16-2ubuntu11.15.10.2 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus script post-installation installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1535063/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

The plan goes something like this: 1) convert existing golang source package to golang-1.6 source package, removing version independent things like the man pages and management of /usr/bin/go, changed to install to version dependent paths (/usr/lib/go-1.6 etc) 2) create a golang-defaults package that contains this version independent stuff and links /usr/bin/go to the appropriate version 3) update gccgo-5 and gccgo-6 packages to stop providing an alternative for 'go'. ** Affects: gcc-5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gccgo-6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: golang (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - move to per-major version coinstallable packages + move to per-Go-major version coinstallable packages ** Also affects: gcc-5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: gccgo-6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to golang in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1555856 Title: move to per-Go-major version coinstallable packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-5/+bug/1555856/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community Or if you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. ** Changed in: mysql-5.6 (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to mysql-5.6 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1538308 Title: package mysql-server-5.6 5.6.28-0ubuntu0.15.10.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.6/+bug/1538308/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1319320] Re: samba does not provide netlogon infos
If someone can prepare a backport, please follow the steps at https://wiki.ubuntu.com StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure to have Trusty updated. All the steps documented there need to be followed. In particular, I'm concerned that we: 1) Explain the bug well enough so the SRU team (who are probably not familiar with this package) can understand the real user impact in terms of use case so they can make a decision as to whether backporting the fix to stable releases justifies the regression risk to existing, unaffected users. 2) Make sure that the fixing this in a stable Ubuntu release does not regress existing users of the module not affected by this bug (eg. other architectures or ways of consuming this module). 3) Have a test case that can be followed by someone not familiar with the package for SRU verification purposes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319320 Title: samba does not provide netlogon infos To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/samba/+bug/1319320/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1528583] Re: [FFe] Please update to MySQL 5.7 series
Lars discovered an upgrade issue from Trusty to Xenial. We think the issue is that the Trusty apparmor does not support Unix domain socket rules, and during the upgrade the userspace tools are too old so mysqld fails to start. I'm currently building a version in my test PPA that adds an apparmor dependency to ensure the new apparmor is configured first during the upgrade. Hopefully this will fix it for anyone upgrading from the latest Trusty HWE kernel. We're not sure about the Trusty release kernel yet. We're doing this in ppa:racb/experimental so as not to affect any test results from those testing for us at the moment. If this works, then I'll update the main testing ppa:mysql-ubuntu/mysql-5.7 tonight (UK time). Please note that if you're already testing from the latter PPA then this may affect your results. If you need me to hold back from uploading because you need the old version for consistency across test runs, please let me know and I'll delay uploading. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1528583 Title: [FFe] Please update to MySQL 5.7 series To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.6/+bug/1528583/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
