[Bug 1843474] [NEW] /usr/bin/fetchmailconf not completely removed
Public bug reported: Saw this debian bug which also affects ubuntu: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=939522 I did a release upgrade from disco to eoan, and even though it didn't fail the upgrade, the problem is there: Preparing to unpack .../142-fetchmail_6.4.0~rc4-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb ... Unpacking fetchmail (6.4.0~rc4-1ubuntu1) over (6.3.26-3ubuntu1) ... dpkg: warning: overriding problem because --force enabled: dpkg: warning: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/fetchmailconf', which is also in package fetchmailconf 6.3.26-3ubuntu1 dpkg: warning: overriding problem because --force enabled: dpkg: warning: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/man/man1/fetchmailconf.1.gz', which is also in package fetchmailconf 6.3.26-3ubuntu1 And fetchmailconf, the one still shipped but now in the fetchmail package, is busted: # fetchmailconf /usr/bin/fetchmailconf: 2: exec: :: not found # cat /usr/bin/fetchmailconf #! /bin/sh exec : /fetchmailconf.py "$@" This is fixed in fetchmail/6.4.0~rc4-2 unfortunately the long description of the fetchmail package still mentions fetchmailconf: """ ... The fetchmailconf package includes an interactive GUI configurator suitable for end-users. [Bug 1843032] Re: Storage graph error
5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4.3 has this changelog entry: net-snmp (5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4.3) xenial; urgency=medium * Skip autofs entries when calling statfs to prevent autofs being mounted on snmpd startup (LP: #1835818): - d/p/autofs-skip-autofs-entries.patch - d/p/autofs-fix-a-recently-introduced-bug.patch So this is skipping autofs mount points.
