[Bug 1850212] Re: The following packages have been kept back: libsnmp30. dist-upgrade does not resolve.

2019-11-01 Thread Andreas Hasenack
Thanks for filing this bug in Ubuntu.

Do you mean that in your current disco system, dist-upgrade does not
install all available updates? Or is this error something you only get
when running do-release-upgrade?

Could you please also attach the release upgrader logs from /var/log
/dist-upgrade?

Also, if dist-upgrade is saying that a certain package won't be updated,
could you please paste the output of:

sudo apt-get install
sudo apt-cache policy

I'll mark this bug as incomplete for now. Once you provide the requested
information, please switch its status back to "new".

[Bug 1850154] Re: package nmap-common 7.80+dfsg1-1build1 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/share/nmap/nmap-mac-prefixes', which is also in package nmap 7.70-2

2019-11-01 Thread Andreas Hasenack
Thanks for filing this bug in Ubuntu.

The package you were upgrading from, 7.70-2, was apparently never
published in Ubuntu, according to the list here:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nmap/+publishinghistory

Was that a local build perhaps?

[Bug 1850183] Re: package postfix (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: il sottoprocesso nuovo pacchetto postfix script pre-installation è stato terminato dal segnale (Terminato)

2019-11-01 Thread Andreas Hasenack
Thanks for filing this bug in Ubuntu.

It's not clear why the postfix postinst script failed. I suggest you
look in /var/log/mail.log and /var/log/mail.err to see if there is more
helpful information there.

Since there is not enough information in this bug report to diagnose the
problem, I'll mark it as incomplete.

I have a pass with python3 for 3.4.7-1 in debian/sid. Let me clean that
branch up now and make a MR in salsa.
