[Bug 485807] Re: XP guest installs but gives BSoD on reboot unless in safe mode
Don't know about Lucid - I know that reinstalling XP onto a virtio device worked. So Win XP on vda is ok, on hda it's not ok. -- XP guest installs but gives BSoD on reboot unless in safe mode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/485807 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu-kvm in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 248628] Re: Sound dies on amd64 with WinXP guest
I have this problem in Karmic, with either XP or Ubuntu as guest. I removed the sound device from the guest (which was es1370) but the problem remains. -- Sound dies on amd64 with WinXP guest https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248628 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to kvm in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 484310] Re: XP guest bluescreens on startup
Performing a fresh install. I installed from a CD containing XP SP2, then applied SP3, then applied all updates via Windows Update. Then I installed Microsoft Security Essentials - the free anti-virus from Microsoft, at this point the error appeared. All attempts to rectify the situation failed (1. boot into safe mode, add-remove programs, get warning that security essentials cannot be uninstalled from within safe mode. 2. restore to a previous system restoration point, same error on reboot. 3. uninstall SP3, same error on reboot.) -- XP guest bluescreens on startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/484310 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to kvm in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
