[Bug 1477198] Re: Stop doesn't work on 14.04 (start-stop-daemon --pid not supported)
It appears that this issue is still present in the haproxy package currently available in trusty-backports (1.5.4-1ubuntu2.1~ubuntu14.04.1), so anyone using that package would still be affected by this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to haproxy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1477198 Title: Stop doesn't work on 14.04 (start-stop-daemon --pid not supported) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1477198/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1447030] [NEW] RBD volumes created with reversed stripe_unit and stripe_count parameters
Public bug reported: Copied from upstream bug at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1092208: When creating an RBD volume with 'virsh vol-create-as', the newly created volume gets a stripe unit of 1 byte and a stripe count of 4194304. This results in an RBD volume which is unusably slow (in my tests, it took over 30 minutes for GRUB to load in an affected guest). This bug has been fixed upstream for libvirt 1.2.4, but the fix has not been backported for trusty-updates. This means this functionality is broken and unusable in the current LTS. ** Affects: libvirt Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #1092208 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1092208 ** Also affects: libvirt via https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1092208 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to libvirt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1447030 Title: RBD volumes created with reversed stripe_unit and stripe_count parameters To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/libvirt/+bug/1447030/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1009974] Re: nova live-migration fails silently
@mdieder, you do realize that qemu+tcp://%s-x/system will only work in a situation like the one I originally described? I.e. you have to have a second IP address on that box, which is resolvable as hostname-x from the other host. [Bug 1009974] Re: nova live-migration fails silently
For anyone else affected by this issue, please see Bug #987473. In this case, it was apparently caused by the presence of double quotes around the --live_migration_uri and --live_migration_flag values.
