Thanks for reporting. >From what I can see from the changelog [1], python3 support was added in version 2.32.1-1.1 and python3-boto is available in Ubuntu 15.04 and later releases [2]. Are you perhaps running an older Ubuntu release, like the 14.04 LTS? When a bug has been fixed in the development (or a newer release) of Ubuntu, the bug is usually considered fixed. In some cases, it is relevant to get the fix into older, supported releases though. [Bug 1512603] Re: nut-monitor systemd service is absent in nut-client package since Ubuntu vivid
Thanks for reporting. I looked at the changelog for this package and found that it was removed in 2.7.1-1ubuntu2 with the follwing message: * Disable systemd unit; it does not check nut.conf whether nut is configured, and thus fails to start (and the package install). The init.d script works well enough for the time being. (LP: #1313231) See also bug 1313231 for more information. Checking with Debian, it looks like they first included the same change as Ubuntu but then reverted them again. However on the Ubuntu side, the version number is 2:8.0.0~b1-0ubuntu1 [3], which creates an obvious mismatch leading to unsatisfiable dependencies. [Bug 1464860] [NEW] libsys-virt-perl FTBFS due to missing dependency libvirt-daemon in Ubuntu
Public bug reported: The libsys-virt-perl package currently in Wily proposed [1] fails to build from source [2]. It fails because it depends on libvirt-daemon, and this package is not available in Ubuntu.
