[Bug 260264] Re: install of mysql-server and mysql-server-5.0 did not complete properly
I got the same error trying to install mysql5.0 on ubuntu 8.04 on an usb-stick and found the following thread: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/casper/+bug/131976 So i tried 'sudo aa-complain mysqld' and got mysql finish its config and the server running.
