[Bug 397721] Re: [needs-packaging] php-fpm
Huh, I got the lucid php5 package patched with fpm. This one should be far better than dotdeb's since it has all the ubuntu patches plus fpm. Checkout my PPA: https://edge.launchpad.net/~sushkov/+archive/personal/+packages Now It can be back-ported to hardy or older versions. [Bug 411890] Re: karmic: Compiling php fails with autoconf 2.64
Hi, imho karmic is an intermediary release so we should think about pushing php 5.3.x into it. Also having php 5.3.x in karmic, will allow us get it more stable for the next LTS. More than this, php 5.2.9 is already in Debian testing, so moving up to 5.3.0 would be somehow synced with them. -- karmic: Compiling php fails with autoconf 2.64 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/411890 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 407428]
Same as above after updating from Jaunty. Shell is not important, any connections hangs on logout. This also is true on using screen. Screen hangs after logging out from it. Downgrading to openssh 1:5.1p1-5ubuntu1 (Jaunty x86) solved the bug for me, so the issue is somewhere in applied patches between 1:5.1p1-5ubuntu1 (Jaunty) and 1:5.1p1-6ubuntu1 (Karmic) builds. -- sshd zombie processes and strange behavior after karmic upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/407428 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 407428]
Hmm, actually it solved partially the bug. Now I can logout, but CTRL+C and screen still are not working. The problem doesn't seem to be caused by openssh-server/client packages. I've downgraded to hardy version, and the bug persists. There's something else that causes the bug, but it happens only on remote ssh connections.

Patching then proceeds okay. Im not sure yet if there's any harm in keeping these files, but when I do the next patch file I shall report the result. These suggestion can be browsed online at github: http://github.com/dreamcat4/php5-fpm-ubuntu/commits/php5_5.2.6.dfsg.1-3ubuntu4.1/ You might be interested to read the log file of my build: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/29787634/buildlog_ubuntu-hardy-i386.php5_5.2.4-2ubuntu5.7_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz Getting solved the patching problem is the easiest part. The package won't compile with the current ./configure, so you'll need to ./buildconf --force anyway. From that point you won't be able to apply fpm patch to./configure. I would say that the package should be build apart from current php5 with only security and fcgi specific patches. The problem here is that on the official webpage, it is not documented what exactly (from php5) fpm requires to run, I doubt it requires the whole php to be reinstalled on the target system. -- () Campania Panglicii în ASCII /\ http://stas.nerd.ro/ascii/ -- [needs-packaging] php-fpm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to php5 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
