Yes, I followed the upgrade instructions exactly.  I was upgrading from a
current, installed Lucid system, that was up to date with all known updates
installed.  For what it is worth:  the upgrade failed completely.  An error
message said that my system had become "unstable'.  This was quite correct
because upon attempting to reboot I got a disk failure warning and my system
was now not bootable.  I had to replace the disk as it was totally
unrecoverable.  I think the problem was related more to the imminent disk
failure and not to the upgrade.  Thanks for your interest.
