Public bug reported: Since upgrading to 13.10 our check_ssh has been failing with the error:"Usage:" with an "unknown" state.
After a little digging it seems that the following file has the incorrect definition for the check_ssh checker: /etc/nagios-plugins/config/ssh.cfg Specifically the first section: define command{ command_name check_ssh command_line /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_ssh '$HOSTADDRESS$' '$ARG1$' } Changing the command _line like this fixes the issue and checks resume as normal: command_line /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_ssh '$HOSTADDRESS$' Regards, Tom ** Affects: nagios-plugins (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to nagios-plugins in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1244713 Title: invalid syntax for check_ssh plugin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nagios-plugins/+bug/1244713/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
