Hello Jose, or anyone else affected, Accepted open-vm-tools into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-vm- tools/2:9.4.0-1280544-5ubuntu6.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
