Public bug reported: Description of problem: I used in the past (approx. 6 months ago) an external DVD drive to install Ubuntu on my guests. When I try now, I can't use my DVD drive anymore.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Virt-manager 0.9.1 libvirt 0.9.8 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open virt-manager 2. Press "New" 3. Select "Local install" 4. Press "Forward" 5. Select "Use CDROM or DVD" 6. Press "Forward" Actual results: Error saying "Error setting install media location" (see attachment) Expected results: No error and getting to the next step. Additional info: This issue may be with libvirt itself I guess. The DVD drive is connected to the server through an USB port. The drive is correctly mounted. The log file (libvirtd.log) is empty.
