The "ntpdate" error message happens when "lo" (loopback interface) is brought up, but at that time there is no "real" networking yet. I suppose the method check in /etc/network/if-up.d/ntpdate does not work under systemd. The other logs entries are separate issues, can you please create separate bugs for those? Thanks!
