Public bug reported: I installed MAAS 1.7 tip, and once the installation was done I changed the IP address of the region controller. The cluster controller of course can't connect to the region and that point, but because it continuously respawns it fills the log with entries of the type:
2014-10-16 21:24:18+0200 [Uninitialized] Region not available: An error occurred while connecting: 113: No route to host. (While requesting RPC info at http://10.155.15.7/MAAS/rpc/). 2014-10-16 21:24:18+0200 [Uninitialized] Region not available: An error occurred while connecting: 113: No route to host. Ironically, when I edit the file /etc/maas/pserv.conf to set a new IP address for the region, that doesn't get reloaded nor does restarting maas-clusterd solve the problem. ** Affects: maas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1382196 Title: Changing IP address for the region causes the cluster to ignore pserv.conf and endlessly respawn To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/+bug/1382196/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
