No, it hasn't been backported as far as I can see, so this is something that needs to be done for nut-2.2.2-pre2. Since we have active maintainers for this driver, I didn't do this myself. Can you (the bug reporters) grab this, call configure as per the packaging/debian/rules, make and test from the build dir?
