[Bug 491955] Re: remote crash via ssh kills local machine
As described in my previous comment, I think this can only be a bug in the SFTP kioslave. ** Package changed: openssh (Ubuntu) = kdebase-runtime (Ubuntu) -- remote crash via ssh kills local machine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/491955 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 491955] Re: remote crash via ssh kills local machine
How are you connecting to the other machine? If it's by ssh in a terminal, then this might be openssh's fault (although I have precisely no idea how; this just doesn't fit any reasonable model of how ssh works ...). However, I think it's more likely that you're using some KDE feature for connecting to other machines using the SSH protocol. The kioslave for sftp uses libssh rather than openssh, and in any case it seems likely that this would be a bug somewhere in the KIO subsystem in this case. -- remote crash via ssh kills local machine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/491955 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openssh in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
