Using -vga std with the default bios files, it won't boot and I get : unaligned pointer 0x8ecc0002 Aborted. Press any key to exit. With -std vga we can only get 800x600 16 colors, which is a fallback, while -vga cirrus works well. KVM 0.11.0 from karmic works well, since this bug only affects 0.12 and above. Quite annoying, since one can only obtain resolutions like 1280x768 from -vga std.
